What is the shine therapy gym?

Our sensory therapy gym is a fun, non-threatening space where your child can jump, climb, spin, swing, hide, crash, slide, see, hear, touch and play. The gym is designed to provide a variety of sensory experiences, both structured & unstructured, to stimulate, regulate & provide opportunities to calm the sensory system.

Will my child benefit from the therapy gym?

Our therapy gym is a space where therapists can assist children with the development of a variety of skills such as: balance & spatial awareness, strength, coordination, communication, fine motor skills, sensory regulation, play & social skills. Your therapist will be able to determine whether your child would benefit from time in the gym, according to the goals you are working toward in therapy. Each session in the gym is carefully planned to meet your child’s goals.
